Zica Giant Leap Toys Space 1999 Eagle 1976 Retro Edition
ZICA Toys and Giant Leap Toys have teamed up to bring back the Space: 1999 Eagle Playset (Retro Edition). Originally produced by Mattel and released in 1976, the reimagining of the toy involves improving the playset and also being sure to retain some of the vintage charm of the original design.
This version of the Space:1999 Eagle Playset includes a translucent black command module hatch, a red fuel tank section, and box art which will show the new colors of the exclusive features.
The playset measures 36 inches long, while the ship's surface details and markings have been improved. The command module and passenger module details have been improved with new decal graphics and added accessory pieces, including a second weapons rack and additional weapons with improved detailing.
The ship's landing gear is designed to be more screen accurate, including the addition of the smaller landing gear pads on the underside of the passenger module. Inserts have also been added to the large rocket boosters giving them a more screen accurate appearance.
